Young Care - What do young people in need of care and their family members need? Insights into the practical research project "Relief for younger people in need of care and their informal caregivers: an Erasmus+ project."
While there are usually target-specific services available for older individuals in need of care and children, it is often particularly challenging for young adults in need of care and their supporters to find suitable information, resources, and services. Facilities such as day care centers or even residential care options are typically designed to cater to individuals who have already reached retirement age. Assistance and leisure activities rarely align with the needs of younger people. In some cases, these facilities may have a minimum admission age of 60 years. Finding appropriate solutions can be quite challenging.
